We are Mugginton Village Hall

Mugginton Village Hall is at the heart of the local community, serving the small Derbyshire villages of Weston Underwood, Mercaston, Kedleston and Mugginton.

The hall is a registered charity, and is run by a voluntary committee elected annually at its AGM.

The hall is well-supported by villagers and the wider community. Regular activities include community coffee mornings, a local history group, weekly indoor bowls, table tennis sessions, and a thriving book club.  Our monthly Tuesday Group hosts speakers and arranges outings to local places of interest.

Local clubs and organisations use the hall to host their own .  A model railway group meets monthly in the hall and most recently, Mugginton Cricket Club held their end of season celebrations with us.  The hall also hosts the local school when they need a large space for their seasonal celebrations.

We organise social events such as our bi-annual Quiz Nights (always sold out),

We provide a base for local ramblers and fun (?!) runners as well as themed craft events, pop-up restaurant events, wine appreciations sessions and whisky tastings alongside our fabulous 'Stand Inn' evenings all of which bring our dispersed rural community together.
